Lauren is a movement artist and dance maker from Indianapolis, Indiana, where she started dancing at the late age of 15. She received her BFA degree in Dance from Ball State University, where she studied with well known artists Sidra Bell, David Dorfman, Holly Jaycox, Nan Giordano, and Laurie Eisenhower. During her time at Ball State, she participated in summer intensives with River North Dance Chicago, San Francisco Dance Conservatory, New Dialect, Dance Kaleidoscope, and Sidra Bell’s Module. Shortly after graduating, Lauren moved to Tennessee and encountered her first taste of aerial dance with FALL. For several years, Lauren had been exploring the art of hooping, spinning staff, and spinning poi. When she found aerial dance, she felt that it gracefully married her love of flow arts with dance. Lauren continues to explore the multifaceted world of circus and dance while being in FALL. This is her 4th season with the company.
